Text 27 Feb 5 notes Decisions, decisions…

Do I watch:

  • Third Star (want to see because it’s been given good reviews, but don’t want my heart to be shattered into a million pieces)
  • Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (want to see but someone said it’s a little boring)
  • War Horse (same reason as Third Star)
  • MOAR SHERLOCK (Even though I’ve watched it all through over the past 6 nights…)

Or any other rec’s?

TTSS definitely.  It’s subtle but it’s not boring, especially if you pay attention. When people say it’s boring they mean it’s dialogue heavy which personally, I don’t think that means it’s not interesting.  I think it requires a bit more participation on the part of the viewer but in this case there is also a lot of espionage and assassinations so even if you pay crap attention to the dialogue, it can hold your interest.  That’s inadvisable though because the plot is amazing.  Prepare to be confused for at least the first 20 minutes but just accept whatever’s happening and by the end you’ll be able to string everything together.  Plus it’s a visually beautiful film.

I have never seen Third Star but I’m pretty sure it will ruin my soul with sadness.

You’ve already seen Sherlock, branch out!  <3

War Horse sucked.

Get your hands on J Edgar, that movie is awesome too.
